Back from Spain.

So with way to little goat in my stomache (never knew Spain was obsessed with eating Rabbit..), skin that makes me look more Nubian than Swedish and one more year on my back (turned 32 over there) i will start uploading some stuff again. Noticed "blogger" as a forum is dead though since only 2 of the punkbloggs i follow had updated their flow in two weeks (what the hell happened to blogger anyway?). As a diehard soul i'll go against the flow and try to keep at least this little blogg alive (since i deleted VHS-ploitation).

Mountain man

Will be going away to the sunny mountains of Frigiliana come Thuesday. Feasting on goats, drinking cervezas and terrorizing the locals will be the main event so no uploads for a while. Will upload some Spanish tunes on Fuck Yeah 'til then though.

New 7'' from Concrete

First EP in connection with their CD entitled We are all subculture street troopers has just been released. Rebel Music does the pressing and it's called Subculture Street Troopers (yes it's awesome). It can be bought here for the time being but will probably end up on Rebellion Records and Rebel Sound in the future.

More issues with uploads (perhaps).

Seems most folk get their downloads without any issues since i switched to uluz but some are still having problems it seems. Got this message today:

"the fucking uloz.to site wont let me download anything since tropel. everyting from tropel til now comes through into my downloads, (im on a mac) with the file name "Ps", and when I click on it to convert from rar to mp3 the file opens with textedit and looks like ten million lines of code. ive tried copying the code and inserting it into my rar decoder (UnRARX) and the decoder wont let me."

Are more having problems of the same nature or even more importantly a solution for the problem? My technical skills end somewhere  around uploading music and downloading pornography so not my strongest side really.

WAR Records is in the process of releasing Crucial Change's latest LP entitled So It Begins. Those familiar with the band wont be dissapointed. Planned to be released by the end of this month.

Also to be released by the end of February is the debut LP of the Jersey based Combate 49. Along with the re-issues of First Stike's old records this label is sure looking better and better each day that passes.

How to download from Uluzto

If someone has any problems using this Russian (i think) site then here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to use it.

1. Once you click the DOWNLOAD button you will be taken directly to the site where Russian words (i think) will assault your western eyes and cause confucion.

What you wanna do here is click the yellow button called "Stáhnout" which i guess means download.

2. When doing so a pop-up will appear looking like this (pic below)

Ignore the box on the left and concentrate on the four-letter code in the middle. These codes are not case sensitive so don't use capslock or anything like that simply write in the four-letter code in the nlank box below and then press the "Stáhnout" button on the bottom.

3. This will make the box dissapear and instantly give you the file to either "un-zip" directly or download to your computer. There might be pop-ups for comercials if your not a member but simply ignore them or install a "add-blocker" on your computer.

Nobody should have any problems with this new file-sharing site. Who knows someday in the future if im unemployed, "self-employed" or simply sadisticly bored i might even throw up all the old uploads to.

New filesharing system (happy new christmas and all that to)

Started using another uploading site called uluzto.net. Great Russsian (i think) site that works just like Mediafire before they got busted. Instead of paying 10 bucks a month i now pay about 7 bucks for a whopping 25GB of online storagespace to use as i see fit. Also no more fancy layouts that nobody underastands like on Rapidshare just plain and simple filesharing like it should be. Let me know how you like it and let me know if it works as soon as i have uploaded my first albums there.

Old files are featured on Soulseek so if you still havnt worked out how to use it my guess is you should figure it out instead of pestering me about re-uploads because they aint comming.

Stop asking for re-uploads and new links!!

Thought i made myself clear the first time around. Me keeping the links updated would costs about 20 bucks a month with the sheer size of all  records uploaded on my sites since 2008 and with shit getting removed here and there it will never be complete and i simply don't have the time to upload something everytime it goes down. Visit www.slsknet.com and download the software for free. Follow the step by step instructions and there should really be no problems with it. If anyone still has problems with understanding the basics of soulseek then contact me (but it's not that hard). The soulseek system should work and the more that get on the wagon the less money those fuckers at rapidshare etc will earn. If not for me then do it for satan.

Old school (no more need for re-uploads)

Had another busy week and didnt have time to check my eamils (some blogg-related emails havnt been answered in over 2 months, sorry i will reply sometime in the future). So opening up my email today i was greated by an email from the once great site Rapidshare where i have been sharing my files the last couple of years (and payed them around $12 a month to do so). Since i was busy i had forgotten to pay my monthly fee and as a digital rape they deleted most of my files (24GG turned into 10GB) so i wont ever use their service again.

All those albums i had spent days on days re-uploading where now gone and just as i felt like giving up on it all i remembered the days back in 2001 when i was young, happy, sexually active and using P2P services to share files. Why not?

This is what will happen, every time i upload a new album it will be uploaded to some other site like rapidshare. At the same time i will start to share it on Soulseek (p2p service). For those who don't know about Soulseek it 's a service that used to be the shit for underground scenes back in 1999-2006. All you have to do is go into their homepage and download the program (free) and add me (username: farbrorbla). Simply download any album that has ever been uploaded to the site. Might be left in a que in the beginning but as long as people share what they download it should be effective as hell and probably both faster and more safe than the way i did it with rapidshare.

Oh and please don't ever ask me for a re-upload again since they are all there for the taking. And remember to share what you have downloaded so others can get to it more quickly.

New album from Empire falls

Well there's actually 4 new albums from the band this year but this one is the one to get if you're gonna get one. The band has of late been going down a drain and even if their politics are still a bit to "right winged" and shady for most people to enjoy they surprised many with their last years sideproject "The dirty bunch" proving that they still know how to make a great Oi! record. This time around with their "This is not your country anymore" they move yet another step into the right direction and offer up  8 brand new songs of rough and offensive skinhead r'n'r. Gave up on them a long time ago? Try this one you wont be sorry.

Rapidshare? WTF?

Just came back from 2 weeks of hard work and traveling to notice that the site i have been throwing thousands of Swedish kroners at through the years now use a new interface and what looks to me as a new system which makes it impossible to share files to people that are not paying members at the site.
Can someone please explain how the fuck one gets that "share adress" when uploading an album to that site so one can share it to people that are not members on Rapidshare....

For the money i pay every month i would expect them to actually do what i pay them for, which means hosting my files online for other people to enjoy. This is fucking bullshit!

New job=No time

Just started a new gig far from where i live so basicaly i get up at 05:00 in the morning and come home at 17:30 in the afternoon. Add the general everyday shit that is social life and life in general i am left with little to no time for my sites.  I am also going to travel both comming weekends so don't expect any uppdates until middle of September or something.

Sad but fun...

It's probably more desperate and tragic than fun but i noticed it when i was visiting a bands facebook profile. The band had no "likes" on any of their posts except for the fact that they had "liked" all of their own posts. How in the world is this not the sadest thing ever. It's like me recording a song playing it for my friends, my friends leave the room without saying a word and there i am all alone giving myself a high five. Sad.

...oh and don't get me started on this whole Skinflint VS Broken Heroes drama. "Non-political" band vs "non-political" label arguing about politics. One side is lying while the other one is naming names and pointing fingers all cheered by their newfound witchfinder friends in the UK. If the argument wasnt about politics then don't drag politics into the argument to capitalise on the newfound PC-cancer sweaping the worldwide scene. Slow period comming but.....

Can't really gather the strength needed to do some big band discography and to be honest i have been a bit feed up with US Oi! the last month. Will do some posts here and there but won't bring the site back in full force until after this summer. Though i still need stuff to do while my wife watches TV so be sure to check out my other site Fuck Yeah!! where i will be extra active during this summer (and have been the last week). As usual any requests for that site of any genre can be emailed to me and i will see if i have it.
