Video for Street soldier by Venganza tatuada

Homemade trubutevideo to Batallon 49 by Venganza tatuada

Venganza tatuada - Werewolves of the night DEMO (2011)

Tracklist:
01. Skinhead
02. Street soldier
03. Venganza tatuada
04. Werewolves of the night

(Update 21 July: Rich is not a member but a friend of the band.)

A new Oi!/RAC band with members from New Jersey and New York with close ties to the band Combate 49 and just like that group they belong to the Batallon 49 crew and and also Tercera Fuerza (a crew that eats babies and stabbs old ladies if you believe everything AFA writes on their site). All members hide their face on the bandphotos but i could atleast depict Rich the singer from First strike as one of the members (though he is not on vocals in this band).

Unlike their brotherband Combate 49 they have a somewhat more polished and professional sound and my guess is these guys have a lot more experience just like Rich.

As much as i have a hard time comming to terms with this whole gangculture punk with gangsigns and weapons being displayed in bandphotos i quite like this band. Especially the brutal track Werewolves of the night that really reminds me about how First strike sounded on their full-length.
As far as the lyrics go i cant really comment since more than 50% of it is in spanish but from what i understand they are violent as hell and dont really like people on the leftwing.
A damn good band that i look forward to hearing more of (or Rich could focus on releasing a new First strike album).

New recordlabel and some going awaytime for myself.

Since Crowbar Records is no more a new label has risen in its place. The label is called WAR and its first agenda on the list is to re-release Offensive weapons Crowbar released CD from 2010 on vinyl. So if you missed it the first time you get another chance now.

Also i will be traveling some the comming month but i will bring my laptop along with me. So if the beer is cold and the weather is hot the uploads wont be as frequent as other months and vice/verca.

Combate 49 - Street violence (expensive musicvideo)

A video that made me laugh hard. Best parts is the superthunderattack at 0:50 and the whole band cheating in group at 1:02.

Fighting 84 & Combate 49 - WC to EC RAC (2010)

Tracklist:
01. Combate 49 - Somos patriotas
02. Combate 49 - Enemigos
03. Combate 49 - Somos patriotas (studio live)
04. Fighting 84 - Red dawn
05. Fighting 84 - On parade
06. Fighting 84 - Class rage

Selfreleased by the bands as a free internet split in 2010.

Wierd how both bands sounded way better on their demos. This release is far, far, far from good with Combate 49 starting it of with singing patriotic anthems in Spanish.
Fighting 84 then takes of with 2 new songs and a re-recording of On parade or more of a de-recording of the original track. It sounds as if the band had some problems while recording since the instruments sound like a flatt pancake in the background and on top of that they have added the vocals without any regard of the tempo of the instruments.
If it wasnt for free i would have told you to stick with the bands demo's or wait untill they release something new.
4/10

Combate 49 - Demo (2011)

Tracklist:
01. Third world (watch the video here)
02. City lonewolf
03. Evil seed
04. Garden state
05. Street violence

Pro-nationalist RAC band of Latin descent originating from the backstreets of New Jersey. The band has been around since late 2009 and is a part of the Battalion 49 crew that has divisions in both South and North America. A skinhead fraction that according to AFA has close ties with nazi deathsquads in Colombia (well AFA also claims that any band against their views is a nazi so dont believe every lie they tell). For some fun read about this crew you can always visit your local nutjob chapter of the AFA and see what they think about them (click here).

They did a split with Fighting 84 last year and as awefull as that split was i was most confuced with the fact that this patriotic band didnt sing in English. That makes absolutely no sense to me so i was happy to hear that they now sing in English.
The band has done shows with Oxblood and First strike and its easy to hear that both these bands have had a big impact on the bands sound.
The band is far from finished to release a record anytime soon but just like F84 they have a certain raw and unpollished charm to them. Their biggest problem is the tempo of the songs that are way to slow. Sure some songs it fits, like the military feeling it gives to Street violence (the best song on the demo). All songs have quite good lyrics and not at all what i would have expected from a selfproclaimed RAC band.
A young band that i think we will hear from in the future and when we do they will sound better than now.

Fighting 84 - Demo (2010)

Tracklist:
01. On parade
02. Fuck the reds
03. Love handles

A young band from California playing a modern approach to classic non-racial RAC. Only being a bystander and not involved in the westcoast scene it is quite obvious even for me that the SoCal needs every non-leftwinged punkband they can get. The SoCal scene has some really good bands but the stuff i have heard about their scene is far from good (people being beaten up and bands being blacklisted cause they dont conform to the rest of the peoples views). This can have something to do with the really violent White Power gangs that used to frequent the areas back in the days but secluding people and incorporating leftwing facism to a scene and then at the same time make songs about unity just doesnt sitt well with me.
Taking a stand...sure. But take a stand for youself and dont group together against smaller groups like you do today. Hiding among friends and fighting in groups is a cowards move.

Anyway witht hat off my chest (sorry for yet another crusade).
The band consists of Brandon on guitar and vocals, Bridget on bass, Jeff on drums and Joseph on eh.... drunken slamdancing and backup vocals or something like that.
If you ever have heard the expression "A diamond in the rough" it speaks well for this demo. I really liked it when a bandmemmber sent it in last year and when i heard that they where releasing a split record with their fellow RAC and latino brothers in NJ band Combate 49 i was really psyched. The end result of that release was far from good though and i really wish they could have kept the songs un-edited and in this raw state.

Both On parade and Fuck the reds are militant anti-pc, anti-trad and anti-communist and my guess is with the current SoCal scene both these songs point a whole lot of fingers at certain persons unknown for us not involved.
Sure the drummer skips a beat here and there and Brandon sounds a bit off at some parts but with a song with lyrics such as "They talk about the days of 69/Dont give a fuck about our present time/Red laces, red braces, political correctness/They say they're skinheads but they're just dirty reds" i cant do nothing but like this strange little band.
