Released by Working Class Records in 2010.

Being one of the founding members behind such bands as The Oi! Scouts and Squiggy Gabe Zanders was a huge icon within the New Jersey Oi! scene. After both bands split up he continued to run Squigtone and later on Working Class Records but in 2010 he decided it was time to bring back the guitar.... and record a country album. Huh?

Claiming the sound is a dedication to punk rock and Johnny Cash i am starting to question this mans sanity since it sure as hell aint punk rock and it sure as hell doesnt sound like Johnny Cash. This is not the good kind of country with wrestling, chewin tobacco and drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon outside your trailer but more of the drinking lemonade, going to baptist churches and claimin "dem city folks don know shit" kind of redneck. A fucking redneck.

I am almost upset with the fact that i like the first song on the album since i should loath this with all my heart. Why not make a kickass punkhybrid or some redneck shit like Antiseen do? I love the "good ol boys" culture as a misfit part of America but cant stand this sub-human filthsound displayed by a once great musician. What the fuck happened Gabe?

Almost as bad as Colorblind cutthroats and that says a lot.

  1. Always thought this album was fun even if it's not particularly "good". And that first song just rules.

  2. Okay, I really tried to listen to this last night and I got thru about four songs and just couldn't handle it anymore.

It's not that it's really bad, it's just really, really weird. I guess that's the best way to put it.

I was expecting a kind of Mike Ness type of thing, and it seems like that's what he was going for but seems to have missed the mark a bit.

    Cheers,
