Killroy - Believe in the ruins 12''EP (1984)

Tracklist:
01. Say it with soul
02. Last resort
03. Believe in the ruins
04. Red alert
05. The battle
06. No more tourists

Released by Upstart Records in 1984.

I have never actually seen this record in real life and all i have is this digital format so i cant say much about members etc. Dont even know if Peter test tube is actually featured on the record or not as the front claims.

The sound is more of what was on their first EP. Even if it's not quite as good as previous one it's still a really good record. Best song on the EP is Believe in the ruins.

  1. I am surprised that Doug Moody didn't go get a lawyer and sue because his name was used on the album cover.

  3. Well, Doug Moody put out a lot of records by bands like Battalion of Saints, White Flag (if I remember right), and a bunch of other bands. He also had Mystic Records and Doug Moody productions. I have heard rumours of him not paying bands and having tried to take legal action on web sites for uploading anything that he released on his labels, I don't know if this is true or not, but....
I thought the city of thorns Portland, Oregon comp was horrible. Half of the bands names aren't even right. I do think that he did get a lot of press for bands that we would never have heard of if it had not been for him, so I guess it's one of those taking the good with the bad things.

    Cheers,

    Brian Guy
